Can anyone out there advise me on how to find divorce records for the time
period of 1885 to 1865 in Shorterville, Henry Co AL. I found their marriage
records for 1885 and she remarried in 1865 and her grandfather's will
addresses her as 'divorced' from her husband. (I found her living with her
child in her father's house in Caddo Parish Louisiana in 1870 census.

Does LDS church have copies of divorce records from that time or do I need
to hire someone to go the courthouse in Shorterville to do research on this?
Any advise would be appreciated.

Oh yes, the names are William Rabun Hall and Eliza Jane Patman (misspelled
as Palmer in the marriage records.) Thanks for any help.
