I have been reading the WARD queries with interest. Maybe someone may know
about the following family.

William J WARD m; Margaret GRIFFIN 10 May 1854, Margaret was born about 1830
NC, and they seem to just disappear. Their children were John, nothing more
on him, Elizabeth, m; Owen STANLEY and Nancy. Nancy Ward is living with her
uncle Thomas Griffin (Jr) in 1870, she is 12 ys old (b; 1858). In 1867 they
are listed children of Peggy Ward deceased (in her fathers estate).

1867 Joel Hudspeth swears; Children of Peggy Ward living in Henry county
except John Ward resides somewhere in FL - Neal Johnson swears; Nancy &
Elizabeth in Henry, John Ward in Dale county. But nothing is ever mentioned
about their father William J.

Elizabeth (Ward) and Owen Stanley are in Lawrenceville in 1900 census.
