Thanks, I think I read that before.
However, I'm talking about my Great-grand father, Jesse W Favor who had a white Father and either a African-American or Indian mother. He was born in Lowndes County in 1872 and is buried in Mt Willing Cemetary. Jesse W Favor was married to Havanna Favor (maiden name unknown) and they had 12 children. Mamie, Jessie Lou, Jesse W., Lee, Ellen, Joe, Monroe, Jack, Minnie, Timothy, Sallie and Leola Ruth. Leola Ruth was my grandmother. All were born and raised in Haneyville/White Hall area of Lowndes County.
I did review the 1880 Census and it showed Jesse J Favor as being 33 years old. I believe he is my great-great-grandfather.
If that is correct Then Jerry Favor was my great-grandfather's half brother.
