1) Mary Steel Stallworth observes 100th birthday (w/photo)

Mary Steel Stallworth, formerly of the Hardaway community in Macon
County, celebrated her 100th birthday on Jan. 18, 2000 in Memphis, TN,
at the home of her daughter, Fannie Mae Murrell.
Family members who traveled to witness the grand occasion were: her
only sister, Annie Mae Walker of Hardaway, grandson, Fred Calloway Jr.
and family of New Brunswick, NJ; niece Annie Ruth Wynn and her daughter
and grandson; nephews Jessie James Steele, Bennie Surge and wife, Cara,
all of Shorter, and their son from Tuskegee.
Mrs. Stallworth was born. Jan 18, 1900 in Lowndes County, AL. She
moved to Hardaway in 1941. She's the mother of three children, two of
whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Stallworth and her sister are the only
survivors of 10 siblings born to Emerson and Fannie Steele.

2) Scott named top 1999 employee for LMMS facility in Huntsville

Renan L. Scott has been selected Employee of the Year by his
employer, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space in Huntsville. <snip>
Son of Mrs. Katherleen E. Scott of Tuskegee Institue and th late Mr.
Rober L. Scott; wife: Donna, have two sons.

Daughter of Lewis and Mattie Yoke, she is the only living child of
that union. Her brother, Rush, died in 1976. Alberta could not remember
his age. Mrs. Collins was born July 5, 1899 according to the Social
Security Administration. Married Jefferson Collins in 1919 and they had
two children, son Reuben, now 79 and Bernice 74 (two different ages
listed for Bernice)
