Researching the BUFFOALE/BUFFALOW and TURNER families of Madison Co. AL and Lincoln Co. TN. Both families seemed to have moved back and forth frequently. The BUFFALOW family begins in Madison Co. with William Embry BUFFALOW b1807 NC and d1886 in probably Madison Co. My TURNER connection begins with Jesse TURNER who married Linsy BUFFALOW in Madision Co. in 1858. Two of Linsey's brothers married TURNERs' as well. The TURNER women were Amanda and Martha. They had a brother by the name of James Sam(n)ford TURNER who removed to TX around 1880. Amanda, Martha, and James TURNER had an uncle named John S. Turner. This John may have been a son of Sugar TURNER. Thanks for any help.
