Hello,

I am trying to find information on the parents of a Thomas J. Davis who
married Mary F. Callaway in Montgomery Co., 4/29/1847.

I have Davis ancestors and a Thomas J. Davis who married a woman about
13 years later so I am wondering if this was a first marriage for him as
he would have been about 18 in 1847.

Also, looking for descendents of John V. and Julia Parker Knight. Their
plantation was in southwest Montgomery Co. along the Crenshaw county
line in a community then known as Philadelphia. Anyone familiar with
this? We are trying to find where John's parents might have been
buried.
