I also do not know where this William Moore lived, but it is possible that
he did live in Perry County. I am a descendant of George Tubb Jr.

Here is the confusing part on the Moores in Perry County. I have found 4
different Moore families. I produced a Civil War era governor of Alabama
(one who was very staunch Confederacy and showed no tolerance to Union
sympathizers); and they are 5 "George Washington Moores" in the other 3
families.

The William Moore, who married Jane Floyd, I have a middle initial of "F."
William F Moore's brother, Alexander, married Lydia Tubb, daughter of George
Tubb Jr and Elizabeth Floyd. (Jane's sister). Lydia's sister, Sarah, was
married to another William Moore (nicknamed "Wagonmaker"). My line is from
William "Wagonmaker" Moore and Sarah Tubb.

Alexander Moore's family relocated to Union County, Arkansas, while about
half of William "Wagonmaker" Moore's children relocated to Union Parish,
Louisiana.

I would love to see any info you have on the Floyd family. I do have birth
dates and death dates of William F Moore's family if you would like them. I
just do not have the places.
