Delbra:

I am researching my Afro American family from Troy in Pike County. My
grandfather is Jack LARKIN who lived in Troy from 1880 until the late
1920's and possibly earlier. I have also heard that Jack was a Seminole
Indian, but I don't have documented evidence to support this yet.

Also, Jack's second wife was Sallie BIGGERS, who I just found out was
born in Bullock County in 1868 or so. The first census record that I have
of Jack is in the 1880 Troy census. I would be elated to find out if
Jack was born in Troy or where he came from.

I have a fairly complete record of Jack's children that I would be happy
to share with you if you are interested.

Charles Larkins, Jr.

Researching: LARKIN/S, BIGGERS, WYLIE, NEDAB, COWART, BYRD, APPLIN,
GREEN, MITCHELL. All from Alabama, Pike County.
