Am researching THOMAS, WEST, MORRISON, BOSWELL, GILMORE, SELLERS in Thomasville/Iverness,
Pike/Bullock, AL. 1830's-1870's. Would like to know if there is anyone
who could help locate Probate records of Guardianship for Alonzo and Edward
Thomas, sons of Asa G. and Sarah Elizabeth (MORRISON) THOMAS to Wade H.
THOMAS after their deaths. It is thought that they may have succumed to
a small pox epidemic during the period of 1859-1861 as several family members
died during this time. Also looking for incompetency proceedings paperwork
against James THOMAS. Time frame on these papers would be about 1859-1861.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and additional info. most welcome.
Would also like to know of cemeteries in this area, would love to find
burial place for James THOMAS and wife Mary, James D.THOMAS and wife Catherine,
Asa G THOMAS and wife Sarah. Thank you in advance....
