Hi all,

Russell County, Alabama Heritage Book Committee wishes to encourage you
to
send in your family and topical stories for our upcoming book. The
deadline is August 31, 2000. We will be glad to mail you a brochure and
more information, if needed.

The committee needs old photos or old pictures of homes, people, places,
businesses, events of Russell County, etc.

County
you can submit material.

Family History:
If they were here before 1890, you can submit 1000 words and two
copies of pictures for free. If you submit a picture, be sure to put a
picture caption (10 words maximum) at the end of article.

If you family came after 1890, you can submit 500 words and 1
free
copy of picture.

When?
Where?
Occupation?
Why they moved to Russell County? Or When?
List children and dates of birth and death of all family members, if
available.

Topical Stories: Stories about the history of Russell County, Alabama,
memories of the past, military service, Fiftieth anniversaries, businesses'
history, histroy of clubs, church history, organizations' history,
community
history, Sport activities, etc.

You can submit as many as you like. Get yours in early.
