I have been trying to find siblings and ancestors of Thomas Johnson. Thomas
was b. abt. 1834 AL and died before 1970 probably in the Civil War. Thomas
married Martha Haskins (b. 1836 AL) in Sumter Co., AL in 1855.

I located in the 1860 Sumter Co. Census a Thomas "Johnston" who I believe
must be the same man. It showed three sons-- James b. abt 1856; F. G.
(Francis Glover I hope) b. 1857 ; and Thomas H. b. abt 1860. The
handwritting was difficult to read so the names may not be exact.
