"Mrs. Nancy Boyette born 1793, died 13 October 1840. She was the wife of Locke Boyette who came to Sumter County from Autauga County.
Locke Boyette born 1784, died 0 October 1840. See obituaries in Sumter Democrat. The settlement of this estate shows that Zelpha was the wife of Loftin Pipen, and that Leroy, Eleanor and Thomas W. Boyette were minors. Leroy became of age the next year and married Mary S. Moore 14 May 1842. Robert Boyette, a son of Locke, died a short time before his father died. Locke was shown as being administrator of Robert's Estate. See Sumter Democrat 1854. T.W. Boyette."
"Ellen A. (Boyette), daughter of Locke Boyette, born 1828. The stone is broken, we think this is perhaps Eleanor A., who is mentioned in the settlement of the estate."
