British Vital Records Lookup:
Address I have for NewCastle Upon Tyne Archives Service is Blandford House,
Blandford Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 4JA. Since Eddie has an exact
date of marriage and boths surnames this would be the easiest way to obtain
a record. Converting your dollars to pounds is the big problem.

The Salt Lake FHL on the British floor of the library has the Civil registry
system there beginning with 1837. The marriages are filed by quarter of the
year and all you will see on the indexes either in London or Salt Lake is a
surname, first name, a district and the volume and page number it was
recorded as. Then you check the surname of the other party for the same
quarter and look for the same district, volume and page number as the
previous entry. You may need to check the quarter of Dec 1895 or next
quarter of Mar 1996. The cost in Salt Lake was extremly reasonable as they
convert your dollars and the certificate is mailed to you at home. The only
catch is you have to do this in Salt Lake on the British Floor of the
Library.
