I have a Samuel John Corkett DURDLE, my gggGrandFather who was born in 1825.
He bought a house in Stafford Road, Kilburn when the houses were new.

Owned a Grocers Shop in Clifton Road, Maida Vale, W. 9. at the corner of
Lanark Villas. This Shop subsequently became the International Stores, but
today is divided into three shops.
Mary Ann Godfrey died in 1911 at Brentford. Samuel Durdle died in 1906.

FAMILY

William (married Miss Hayes) Solicitor. Daughter : Catherine

John (Three children Harold, Oswald, Laurie)
Hatty
Mary
Alfred (large family : Lived at Peckham Married Bessie Chester)
Anne

I am descended from John, via Oswald.

I would love to find out about any of Samuel's other children, but more
importantly, I need to know of Samuel's parents/siblings.
