<snipped really good points>
I just want to put in my 2 cents.......Richard made some excellent points
regarding the SSDI....I want to remind everyone that if you cannot find
the person you are looking for in a state you KNOW they died in....check
other states. I was looking for an aunt that I KNEW lived in Michigan all
of her life. I couldn't find her in the SSDI in Michigan, but did find
her name listed in Florida......why?
Because her DAUGHTER lived in Florida and was the power of attorney. My
aunt was in a nursing home and the daughter recieved the check then paid
the nursing home. What a mess!!
