What is a 'ufilm'?

How are all these illiterate people going to do genealogical research?

If you can't even write a coherent message to a Newsgroup how do you
expect to be able to pursue this hobby, which requires the ability to
read and digest data, communicate clear requests and analyse conflicting
results? And that's a minimum.

I know jwwright has been here before with the same incomprehensible
complaints but the publicity over the LDS site has brought even more
posts to the group that show, as far as one can make out what they mean
without punctuation or grammar,a profound ignorance of the whole subject
of genealogy.

I am always willing to help 'newbies' - everyone had to make a start.
But these people seem to be complaining about what they (wrongly)
thought was on offer and not listening to anyone who tries to explain.

The one consolation is that they probably have the attention span of a
goldfish and will shortly go away.
