Perhaps. From what I understand, the LDS use information provided by
volunteers and/or familymembers wishing to 'seal' their relatives in the
afterlife. Often families get things wrong. Often information is
garbled.

I have already run into a couple errors in my own family. Ada Lea
HEISINGER is written down as Ada Lee (Not the correct spelling)
HEISINGER and I have found date errors in things. I am not certain,
since Ihave not yet made the attempt to contact LDS and correct the
errors, how they will react to my offer of correction.

If there are any LDS folks on here, I would like to ask, how does one go
about adding a correction, and if info is in error, are the parties
listed still 'sealed'? Also, I have information that can add to the
files of particular family members.

Since what the LDS members are doing is done for a religious reason, I
would VERY much hesitate to call it 'cr*p'! It is a work of faith, not a
business enterprise, and errors aside, I admire the efforts of those
working on it. I plan to assist where I can to make the records better.
I am not a Mormon, nor even a Christian, but I support anyone who acts
in good and loving faith.

Sylvia

And even if it IS 'cr*p'... sometimes you forget that roses NEED such
stuff to survive. Without excrement, we would not have flowers.
