Good point, Charles...less does seem to work better.

But, one thing I wish is that when you do find an IGI listing for an
individual that this system could link you to the parents! For example, I
found a christening record for my grandmother's brother in Ireland by just
entering his name. But if I search his mother's name only....or father's
name only....it gives nothing. Even though her name & the father's name are
right there on their son's christening record!
.....I am not very technically astute, but I suspect that a search program
that could accomplish what I want might be overly complicated.. not to
mention cost prohibitive?? But what do I know.?
LOL ;-))
Any programmers out there have a professional opinion on this??
