Hello!

I think I was a member of this list a little while ago but I lost all of
my files when my computer crashed, including all of the messages and
addresses sent to me by others who had suggestions for my search. I am
wondering if anyone remembers connecting with me. There was a woman from
a Jamaican list and a man from the UK who had sent messages (all of
which I lost in the great computer crash -- I will never use MS Outlook
again...sigh). I thank anyone who have contributed to my learning
process and gathering of information about my father's family. If you
sent me messages and I didnt respond at the time, I just wanted you to
know what happened. Now I just have to send the same message to the
caribbean genealogy list if I can find the address.

I had recently begun researching my family tree. My father was Rainford
Henrey Jackson from Jamaica. He was born in the parish of Portland,
Jamaica. His mother was Iris Jackson. His father's last name was
McKenzie but his mother married a man who's last name was Palmer. If you
can make any suggestions towards helping me trace this branch of the
Jackson family, I will be very appreciative.
