Tammy, if these are recent obituaries, have you tried contacting
whatever local or regional newspaper may be in the area? Many
newspapers are now on the Web and often have indexes for obituaries. If
they are older obituaries, there may be a county historical society
that can help you or refer you to a genealogist in the area. It usually
isn't as easy as just getting a copy of the paper and photocopying the
obit. If there's no index and the date of death is not known, it can
take hours of combing through old papers or microfilm to find
obituaries (or anything else).
