Hi Ian,
There are several programs that you could choose from. I don't know if you
are aware that there is a new Personal Ancestral File program available for
free download right now. You can access it from www.familysearch.org under
the "What's New" area. It is windows based and is PAF 4.0. Also there is
Ancestral Quest which can read PAF files without any difficulty. I have
heard that many also like Brother's Keeper which is shareware and updates
are available online for it also. ( However I don't know if it can read PAF
files but it could likely take a Gedcom export though) I think everyone has
a particular "favorite". These are just a few of my ideas for you.
