Am looking for descendants of George and Susannah Tennant, who moved
with their family to Des Moines County, Iowa in 1856 and then to
Ringgold County, Iowa in 1869.

They had 12 children, Rosanah, Elizabeth, William, David, Isabel, Susan
Jane, Matthew, Robert Jasper, Fletcher, John, George Addison, and Emma
Laura.

Should you have genealogical information from this area, I would
appreciate hearing from you. In return I have a "Tennant Genealogy"
book compiled by Ferne Gleason Wright in Des Moines and printed by
Stanton Tennant in Colfax, Iowa, which you may be interested in.

Also, if you know of an ancestral researcher for hire in the Ringgold
County, Iowa, area, I would appreciate that name.
