Do you have a relative with the name of Gary Egbert, use to live in Yuma
during the mid-80's??

While I hardly consider myself an ex-spurt, I have the highest regard for
The Master Genealogist (http://www.whollygenes.com) . I have been using it
for a few years after and transitioned from Brothers Keeper to FTM to TMG.
TMG is, IMO, far superior in regard to data capabilities.
TMG has a learning curve that is somewhat steeper than the
"keep-it-as-simple-as-a-buttonclik" type softwares. This means that it
takes a while to master (I am still learning after three years), but its
flexibility, customization, and reporting capabilities are unsurpassed.

| I have lots of merging and pruning to do with GEDCOM data. I'd also
| like to be able to export a portion of the GEDCOM as well.
