Hello Don,
Basic info about the 1930 census (including which states have been
soundexed) can be found here...

Ancestry is planning on indexing and digitizing the entire 1930 census as
part of their online census subscription program, but it will take them
several months to complete this. In the meantime you might try the finding
aids listed on the above site. There is no master index at this point.
