There is a link there to "Government of Canada Files (at National Archives of
Canada) ". Use it to search the METIS SCRIPS online.
I did a quick search for your name L'HIRONDELLE and had 3 hits, some name
children as well as parents. There are digitized images you can view. All this
is free and easily available.
