Just to be complete...
What I normally do is (On winXP) ...
1) Start -> control panel -> add/remove programs and remove it that way.
Then..
2) To delete any shortcuts or entries on the Start menu... right click on it
and select delete. If using XP it mat say something like.."this will effect
all users, do you wish to proceed?" anwer YES.
3) To delete any program elements you need to find where the program lives.
Normall this is somewhere like "C:\program files\<name of program>" but in
the case of FTM I believe it is C:\FTW. So you need to select Start -> My
Computer -> Local Disc C: and delete the FTW folder (or rename it to say
FTWold if you are worried this might be duff advice).
This may still leave some registry entries but usually they take some
finding and can usually be ignored I find.
