You may want to see what records the PRO may have. At a minimum, I know
that they have Muster Books and Pay Lists there. They are in the WO 12
series. The musters will tell where and when your ancestor was while he was
in the British Army. The PRO (now know as the National Archives) is at
www.pro.gov.uk Go into their catalog and look under WO 12.
