Hi everyone! I've been gone from the lists for a long time and wondered if
there was anyone researching the surname RICHARDSON.

In particular, I'm trying to find Thomas Richardson born 1816. Family says
he was born in Charleston, SC, but we've never been able to find him there,
even with 2 professional researchers.

Other family members insist he was born in SC but lived in Alabama most of
his life.

I found him in Trinity County, TX in 1853 where he finally decided to stay
put and stop wandering around.

He may have even changed his name to Watson (first or last name?) according
to history passed down from older family members that knew him. Apparently
he got into some trouble in "Old Sumpter" and made a run for it.....

May have male family members named James, John or even Jacob or Francis...
just a hunch on my part though.

I sincerely appreciate any help at all with this guy.
