What does ARPres mean? I assume as an early Presbyterian minister the P
means Presbyterian. Also, when is "early"? I have a missing ancestor, Asa
WILKINSON, who died after 1870. He was a Primitive Baptist minister. He
lived near Old Texas -- Pine Apple part of his life and might be burried at a
Baptist Church. However, his son was also a Primitive Baptist but he is
burried at Jenks Chapel, a Methodist Church.
Apparently in the 1800s the Baptist Church was fragmented into smaller groups
and they didn't always agree on theology. But they did agree with some
other Protestant theologist more than others. Would a Baptist Minister be
buried in some other church cemetery?
Thanks,
Grant
