Snow HIll Institute is still in existance, in some form. I don't think they
have classes there as a regular school, but now I think it is called the
Performing Arts Center. They have plays and concerts there at times. It is
called the "Springtree Snow Hill Instuitute of Perfroming Arts" There is a
telephone number listed as 334-746-2223. This will put you in touch with
Consula Lee, the lady that has kept it alive. THere is an article about the

By the way, that link is from the LIbrary of Congress, there's lots of
infomration about the "old days" in different forms in the various
collections, a neat way to spend a lot of time browsing.
