Does anyone one have access to the 1870 federal census of Wilcox County. I
am looking for a Ellen Bruce she is listed as living in Snow Hill. And was
there a Charlie Langham listed. I would like to know who Ellen's family was
and how old she was. She married in Wilcox County on 18 Feb 1871 to Charlie
Langham. Charles Langham was born in 1847 in Wilcox county. His mother died
5 Mar 1853. Not sure from what, she was Anne Catherine Langham, Dau. of Rev.
James Thompson. After his mother died his father left the county but the
children stayed and not sure who raised them. Thanks for any help given. I
have hit a brick wall on Ellen Bruce and Charlie Langham and families.
