These are my Austin and Weatherford families. I shared my GEDCOM with Tami
sometime ago. To date, I have no new information on either line except for
the addition of some non-Wilcox Co. Austin descendants. Our Weatherford
research group is still trying to determine the parentage of Edward
Weatherford. There is quite a bit of speculation, but no hard proof, that he
was the son of Major Weatherford and the brother of Major, Jones and Lewis
Weatherford who were also in the Monroe - Wilcox - Conecuh area. We have
identified the parents of Edward's wife, Sarah Curry. Several of her
siblings and other relatives were Wilcox Co. and later migrated to Louisiana.
I would be happy to share what I have on this and other lines.
