I know that James died in the Civil War and that Redden married someone named
Ruth but that is about all I know on that subject. I would really like to
know more.

I have just gotten off the telephone with a first cousin that lives in Texas.
She read me a letter written by our grandmother, Kate Morgan Hooksback in
the 60's. The letter listed Kate's parents, and when they were born and when
they died. Kate's parents were Ida Belle Tyler and Roland Lee Morgan. She
gave the same birth and death dates that we all have. Ida is buried about 30
miles from my home. If the rain stops (3.5 inches today) and I can get there
tomorrow, I will go there and look at the grave marker and check the
newspapers in the library there for an obituary. I know that obits were
kinda unusual in 1935, but another relative that lived in Laurel died in 1929
and there were two articles about her death in the paper there.

Do you have documentation on the Ida Rebecca name? Oh! In that same letter
that she was reading from, Granny Kate said " both of my grandmothers were
named Annie. Annie Rebecca Brewer and Annie Eliza Rice."

Roland Lee Morgan died in McKenzie Al. on March 14, 1956. I do not know the
name of the cemetery that he is buried in. I do know that he married again
after Ida died. I have a picture of him and his second wife, but I do not
know her name. McKenzie AL is in Butler Co.
