Trying to find marriage record, and the story behind the marriage of:

Willie Leo FILBERT & Rachel Delia SMYLY. Marriage date 8 Nov 1911 in Wilcox
Co., AL. Prior to the marriage census reveals he was living with his parents.


Rachel Delia SMYLY d. 26 June 1912. I do not know if the marriage is listed
as FILBERT-SMYLY or FILBERT-MORGAN, as I have not been able to research to
find her divorce from Theophalis MORGAN. Theophalis MORGAN had not died, as I
have found him on census records years after 1911.

Rachel Delia SMYLY b. 16 June 1886 in Magnolia, Marengo Co., AL is d/o James
Peyton SMYLY and Melandia B. LEONARD. James Peyton SMYLY lived in Wilcox,
Marengo, and Baldwin Counties.

Rachel Delia SMYLY was m. to Theophalis Henry MORGAN on 1 Feb 1901 in Marengo
Co., AL. Theophalis Henry MORGAN b. 16 Jan 1878 in Greenville, Butler Co.,
AL s/o Henry Washington MORGAN and Mary A. McDONLDS.

Children b. of the Theophalis Henry MORGAN-Rachel Delia SMYLY marriage:

James Louis MORGAN b. 25 Feb 1902
Ola Mae MORGAN b. 21 Aug 1904 Lamison, Wilcox Co., AL
