Ancestor: William Riley Mims (Mimms) served Company A, 4th Alabama Regiment of Cavalry 1862 - 1865, Parole of Prisoner of War was 25 April 1865 at Hd.Qtrs. Calvary Forces M.D.U.M. near Greenville Ala. born in 1835 Georgia, died 20 January 1882, Wilcox County Alabama.
This information taken from Confederate Pension Records #23015 from Bell County, Texas. Wife, Martha J. Mims. filed.
I have never found his burial place in Wilcox County, Alabama. I would appreciate any help in locating this grave.
