I found a marriage between a William Smith and a Lucy Hages (Hoges, Hodges) on 6 Dec. 1817 in Madison Co., AL. Then in the 1820 census for Wilcox Co., AL, I found a William Smith with one male over 21 and two females under 21. One of the females under 21 would fit with the Lucy of Madison Co., AL, if she were about 17 when she married.

In the 1830 census for Wilcox Co. I found a William Smith whose family census data was 20001-00101. I haven't been able to match him up with anyone in the 1840 census yet.

I would like to find out if there is a will for William Smith in Wilcox Co., AL. If he was the husband of Lucy of Clarke Co., AL, he would have died between 1840 and 1850.
