This an excellent resource; one that may fit another
piece into the puzzle of Johann Nicolaus Linck's
whereabouts between the time of his escape from
Albemarle and his know residence in VA.

Two Questions:
(1) Would other states have similar records, e.g. VA?
(2) Is there any statistic or opinion on the percentage
of Oath Takers among Hessian soldiers who remained?
