Hello Sallie,
it's about two-and-a-half years since I had an enquiry about a
George Hinerman/Heinermann from a Kathleen Thompson,

and at that time she told me that this George was born about 1745
in Sandershausen, Germany. She also said that he married a woman
by the name of Mary Elizabeth Howard in Maryland.

At that time I confirmed that there was indeed a soldier listed
in the Hessian files by that name with this place of birth.
(Hetrina III#7210/11), but I have not heard anything since.

This is not the same Georg Heinemann who was 10 years younger,
born in Eschwege, and settled in Frederick Co., MD, this fellow
did marry Mary Elizabeth Howard. Either Kathleen got the wrong
soldier, or she got the wrong wife.
Whichever the case, but this will get you on the road to finding your
ancestor.
Good luck and good hunting,
John Merz www.cgo.wave.ca/~hessian
