(7) A fourth line descends from a Revolutionary War Hessian soldier, Conrad
Luther, born in Thueringen, Hesse, about 1750, and arriving in North America
between 1776 and 1779. He and his seven children lived in Lancaster and
Huntington Co, PA. His surviving male children were Christoper (b. 1787),
William (b. ca. 1792), Jacob, John (b. ca 1800-1805). In sum, then, the many
Luthers from the LFIA group who came into New York at the right time, and
whose lines are so sparsely documented in LFIA, seem to be a more plausible
place to look for connections. At this point, however, the exact connection
is unknown: there is no Ebenezer Luther in LFIA who was born at the right
time and place.
