Yes I do remember your letter last year, and I also noticed that
there was a response from one of our subscribers.
There are many soldiers with the last name of Kuntz, but I have not
found one with the first name of Joseph. I noticed some e-mail queries
on the list back in 1997, perhaps check the
archives of that mail list. Find it by using www.rootsweb.com

I wrote to you in 2000 to see if I could get any information on my Hessian. His name is
Joseph Koonce, Coons, Countz not sure of the spelling of the last name. One of my
relatives stated they heard he was from hesse, another heard that he was Dutch could you
look at the list and see if there were any Dutch Hessians. I haven't found out any thing
yet still looking.
