Hello Quebec-Hessians;
As I have stated a few times now, I will present a
Hessian Soldier Plaque at the Rose House Museum
at Marysburgh North on Lake Ontario near Picton on
Saturday, 21. August 2004. All Hessian descendants
are invited to participate in the celebrations.
I did purchase several plaques from the Bronzeworks,
and all but one have been spoken for, meaning, I have
one plaque available for purchase by a Canadian descendant
or organization. My own cost was Can$107.00, postage will be
extra. This offer is meant for mailing in Canada only.
U.S.A. buyers to contact the Bronzeworks direct.
Since this is the only one I have to offer, I will accept bids, and
the highest bidder will be getting this beautiful piece.
It is cast of bronze and weighs 1,020 grams. See a picture
at http://www3.sympatico.ca/hessian/plakette.htm
Please put your bid in before next Saturday, June 5th, 10 pm.
Your bid should go to . and NOT to
the list. I will keep you up to date how bidding goes.
BTW. I had my own plaque mounted on a thick round Steak Board,
9" wide, and it looks very good. It will hang on my trophy wall.
I bought the Board at the Bay's Home Outfitters store. The screws
are coming with the plaque.
I am looking forward hearing from you.
Cheers,
John Merz
