Hi John,
I am still working on the Johannes Bohland family data started by me in the
year of 1964. My Hessian Soldier was Johann Heinrich Bohland (aka John
Boland) from the von Ditfurth Regiment 3rd Company.
In the year 2000 we formed the John Boland Family Association in Little
Mountain, South Carolina (Deutsch Fork) and my cousin Donald W. Whitaker was
appointed the Family Genealogist. He asked me to contribute my Boland files
and also be his assistant. I did this. We are near the point of publication
of a two volume book on our Hessian Soldier's life and descendants. I have
not heard from you or about you for some time now so just thought I'd drop
you a line and tell you thanks for all the help you gave me back several
years ago. I have established contact with my Germany family who still live
in Haine, Allendorf, Hessen. As a matter of fact a cousin owns and lives in
the rebuilt home on the same land where my g,g,g,grandfather Johann Heinrich
Bohland was born on June 02, 1755.

I trust you are doing well. Again thank you for all your past help.
