Thanks is due to Bob Brooks for the Hetrina III information.

As many of the men are listed as having returned to Germany
and were on the records there in 1785, I would like to offer
a suggestion, based on my experience with other Knyphausen
soldiers of the Ziegenhain area. After their release or furlough
they may have packed up and returned to America, possibly
even bringing their families along, or returning to 'old' girl friends
or other family connections. It is therefore important to find
first records of them in their new homeland.
Cheers,
John Helmut Merz.
