Dear Cousins,
One of the nicest benefits of genealogy is the new cousins we
gain, and the friendships we acquire even though often we never meet
the friend except through communications like these. In the old days,
we wrote those snail mail letters and waited patiently for answers,
and in the process of puzzling over ancestors, we made friendships
that stretched across the miles and years. Even though we're in a
speeded up environment, the feelings of kinship and friendship are
still there, and they are the guiding force behind American
Crossroads.
