Hi Darlene,
I went to the site but most links are unavailable. I have joined this group
as I'm doing the work on my mother's Anderson family. My uncle John R
Anderson (project kit 119820) was tested for 67 markers, and I submitted
what we know. Where on your site can I go to see all the project results?
The only part I could get to was the Unassigned group, and he was not
listed. My understanding is that a 12 marker match is not worth much (In
fact at 12 he matched my first cousin on my father's side, whom we can trace
back 8 generations with not a chance of any relationship to my mother's
side, and at 42 markers, as expected, there is no match at all.)
Do I need a password? Do I already have one? I would like to be able to use
the DNA results in some way!
As I wrote somewhere, I suspect that we are not Anderson at all but possibly
Upchurch. However, there seem to be only three Upchurches in the databases,
and I'm not sure if there is an automatic comparing done anywhere.
Thanks for any guidance you can give me, at least in how I can see the
Anderson groups.
