I am looking for information on Elijah Anderson, whose will was "proved" in
Union County, SC, on 6 Sep 1824. His will mentions his wife, Nancy, one son,
Silas, and seven daughters, among whom is Elizabeth Anderson, who was nine
years old at the time of Elijah's death. I am guessing that Elijah Anderson
was born about 1790.

The other six daughters were named as Nancy, Polly, Caroline, Martha, Lizer
and Dosha Ann. It is believed that Elijah's wife Nancy was nee Selby?

Elizabeth Anderson married Roland(Rowland?) Jefferson Shelton on 27 Mar 1834,
and later the two were involved in a lawsuit against Silas who was named as
the executer of their fathers will:
