If this is your line and you can add to the information that I have posted
here I hope you will contact me. I am working on the David ANDERSON family
that ended up in MS.

Henry Pryor ANDERSON was the son of James ANDERSON and Nancy HART. James was
the son of David ANDERSON.

Henry was born 1822 VI and died Oct. 30, 1867 according to information that
was sent to me. He had two children Jefferson Davis ANDERSON and John William
ANDERSON.
This is the information that I copied from the census:
1850 Smith Co., MS
ANDERSON, Henry age 27, Male, Farmer, born Kty
Ruth, age 19, Female, born MS
Sarah, age 1, Female, born MS
* As you will note Henry gives his place of birth as KTY on each census. As
this information was suppose to be taken from the actural person I would think
we could assume that he was born in KTY. rather than Vir as is listed on
earlier information.
1860 Smith Co. Census
ANDERSON, H.P., age 37 Male, White, Farmer 1500,3465 value , born KY
Ruth, age 27 Female, White, born MS
Sarah A. age 11, Female, White, born MS
Elizabeth, age 9, Female, White, born MS
William, age 7, Male, White, born MS
Varusha (very hard to read) age 5, Female, born MS
Jannie, age 2 Female, White, born MS
Lucy, age 5/12, Female, White, born MS
James, age 58 Male, Farmer, 1200 value, born VA
Elizabeth, age 55 Female, born KY
* We can assume that this if James the father of Henry and Elizabeth the wife
of James. As Henry's mother has been listed as Nancy HART we can assume that
(a) James married twice, (2) Nancy was not the mother of Henry.
1870 Smith Co. Census Taylorsville
ANDERSON Ruth, age 38, female, white, Farmer, 800, 650 born MS
James W. age 18, male, white, Farm Labor, born MS
Laura M. age 14, female, white, born MS
Lucy S. age 12, female, white, born MS
Nancy V. age 10, female, white, born MS
Jeff Davis, age 8, male, white, born MS
Annie B. age 4, female, white, born MS
James, age 73, male, white, born VA
JONES, Jess, age 22, male, white, Farm Labor, born MS
* Henry and Elizabeth are both missing, Henry died 1867 according to earlier
information and most likey Elizabeth is dead also.
1880 Smith Co. Miss
ANDERSON, Ruthy white female, age 48, Farmer, born MS
James W. white male, age 26, son, Laboring on Farm born MS
Lucinda C. white female, age 21. house keeping, born MS
Nancy U, white female, age 19, dau, house keeping, born MS
Jefferson D. white male, age 18, son, loboring on farm, born MS
Anna V., whtie female, age 14, dau, at school. born MS
