We are trying to get in touch with any surviving members of this
family.

Several years ago, after a family death, we found five typed pages
taken from several family Bibles. These records were complied by Mary
Margaret Anderson Rothlisberger and her father. These pages appear to
be 30+ years old. They appear to have been folded for mailing. The
last entry is 1945, the earliest is 1765. There are NO locations
listed. (Major frustration!)

There is no one,living, in our family who knows where the
Rothlisbergers lived. We have tried calling various Rothlisbergers
across the county, but have not found any who know this particular
family.

Mary Margaret Anderson b 1/8/1892; married F.A. Rothlisberger, Jr.. on
2/17/1914. Mary Margaret's father was Jonathan Washington Anderson, b
9/26/1865; (m Margaret Ann Murphy 2/4/1891);d 1945. Jonathan's mother
was Mary Montgomery Moor who remarried Robert C. Anderson. We know
that Mary Montgomery and others of her family were in Birmingham, AL
during the mid 1800s; some of the Montgomery family later moved to
St.. Clair County for a while, then came back to B'ham.

If anyone has a clue about how we could contact Mary Margaret's
descendants, we would welcome some new ideas. Thanks, Kitty Montgomery
