There has been so much 'talk' re the new LDS genealogy site; I just rec'd
this, thought you may be interested in knowing about it.

"........much to the delight of genealogists, the Mormons are preparing to
make some of their vast holdings of family records available on the World
Wide Web for the first time next month, if not sooner." The new website
will
be found at http://www.familysearch.org
and is set for release in April; a test period in March may be restricted
to
a small group of selected testers who will be given a password."

The BYU newspaper reports that the trial period will be held sometime in
March or April, with a formal launch date of "early summer."

I have been asked if I wanted to be a volunteer and of course I said yes..

I am still waiting to hear back, that was 3 weeks ago.
