Hi all Andersons,
I am researching a branch of Andersons in Colorado that
starts with a dead end.
John Edward Anderson escaped an orphanage in or around Grand
Junction, Colorado
around 1916 his age was approx 16 years of age. He
reappeared again in Phillips County
Colorado in 1924 via marriage records. At which time he
married Cora Ella Josh. According to my
father and his sibs John only refered to his mother as
Grandma whitstein(sp) it is unknown if this is
her maiden name or if she remarried again. It is known that
she was married to an Anderson at one
time. I am looking for Grandma Whitstein and Her Anderson
husband in order that I may continue my search
. Any one out there have any connections or ideas?
John Edward Anderson died in a farming accident in 1946.
Cora Ella Josh Died 1982
some of thier children are Ella Anderson, Alvin Anderson,
Anna Mae Anderson, Patsy Anderson, Sonya Anderson
Eddie Anderson, Nathan Anderson and Orville or Ortie
Anderson.
